Anyone who would like to provide support to those who are journeying through the final phase of life and to their caregivers, is invited to attend. This a an opportunity to explore the possibility of serving as a part of our caring team at Home Hospice performing those tasks that a loving friend or caring neighbor might for someone who is ill, and to learn a great deal about the life and living that is possible during this important part of our journey.
The training is free, but registration is requested in order that adequate materials be prepared. Individuals are encouraged to attend even if they are unsure of their desire to become a volunteer – there is much to learn.

A three-session training workshop for volunteers who want to learn how to be Legacy volunteers will be conducted by Sherry Little, Executive Director and Dr. Jerry Lincecum, retired Austin College English Professor.

Camp Dragonfly is a
community-based grief camp for children and adolescents who have suffered the death of a close loved one.
