HOSPICE BENEFIT PROGRAM:
Anyone who is a resident of Grayson, western Fannin or Cooke Counties and has a projected life expectancy of approximately six months or less and desires hospice care may be eligible for service from Home Hospice. No one is ever refused Home Hospice's care because of an inability to pay. The patient continues under the care of his or her own physician while in the hospice program. The patient's care will be aimed at achieving comfort and symptom control; no curative treatment is planned. A family member or caregiver will participate in patient care. Patients without caregivers will be evaluated and may be admitted to the programs under special arrangements. Home Hospice services are open to all regardless of age, race, religion, gender, handicap or sexual preference.
