Volunteer Appreciation
This was a wonderful evening built around a Hollywood theme with a beautiful buffet table, top hats and film canisters everywhere. The volunteers were celebrated. Volunteers receiving their 500 hour award were Merline McCutchen, Jeannette Snyder, Margaret McNallie. Those receiving their 1000 hour bar were Andi Schruhl and Dorothy Bartley. Several fun awards were given and in keeping with the Hollywood theme, Oscars were presented. A live auction with Home Hospice bucks followed wonderful entertainment by Sylvia Rivers and Steward Mayer, of First United Methodist Church. Many thanks to Mandy Montgomery for her great organizational skills and all her work on this event and to Laura Jenkins, HH Volunteer Coordinator. They were both responsible for pulling this together. Thanks go to First United Methodist Church of Sherman for the use of Binkley Hall for this fabulous evening.
